I’m the Operations Manager at MPS Concrete Solutions.
How long have you been at DB Group?

What does a typical day look like for you?
I am usually planning jobs for the MPS Site Team or heading to site to look at a new project which I will then later report and quote for. I regularly liaise with clients to discuss current work MPS are doing with them as well as upcoming projects they have and any enquiries.
What do you enjoy about working at DB Group? Or what do you enjoy about your role?
One of the most enjoyable things about working for MPS is watching my colleagues accomplish things they’ve been working towards. Whether that be getting their NVQ, learning new skills or gaining confidence in themselves and areas where they felt they weren’t doing too well on.
As well as this, I also like that every day is different in my role. My days always vary, so it never gets dull!
How has DB Group supported you in your career?
DB Group encouraged me to progress into the position I am in currently. The training and skills that I have learnt whilst working here have helped further my career. Their support has given me the confidence to strive for goals I didn’t think to ever go for, and still motivates me now to continue to grow in the future.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing football and going to the gym.

I enjoy reading non-fiction books, whether that be scientific or historical
